Thanks! I got her from someone I know who raises bulls! He had been telling me that I could have a pup ever since he first found out Scout was sick last summer. The mom was a working dog (herding bulls) and the grandfather as well was also on the property. Great dogs! I named her, because I got her in May (inventive right? NO) She loves the outdoors BUT right now she's so young, only 9 weeks, that everything is a bit scary. Birds are very scary. But I guess if I was as small as she is I would be afraid of birds too!
That is awesome. They are so cute when they are little puppies. I like when they are still uncoordinated and fall and themselves, super cute. Now you have to get bulls, it runs in her blood.
all is well! Mae is doing GREAT! still lots of puppy nibbling and racing around like a nut! But she pretty much sleeps through the night and is rapidly learning to go potty outside! This skill was greatly enhanced by food rewards....She is also walking on a leash, crating in the truck, knows "sit", "down" and "spin around MAE". I'm pretty sure she is way smarter than me but I won't tell her if you don't!
Wow...she is picking things up really quick. When you see progress like that you know all was meant to be. That is great news. Any fun outdoor activities going on? Come on it's summer!! Lol
We are supposed to have record high temps here this weekend. but that means nothing to you! Lol! No big plans, still need to side the outhouse with some cedar shakes and you know, decor! (moon on door?) We may go paddle around the lake on our surfboards to beat the heat. Hope your weekend is great!
It's so hard to juggle family, work, other obligations and be a good runner! Then throw in weather and other commitments. ti's a wonder we get anything done! you will get back on track, I'm sure of it! Run Smart!!
Wow congrats!! Mae is a beautiful dog. Where did you get her? Did she already have that name? Does she like to be outdoors?

ReplyDeletePretty dumb running choices this weekend. Overall a great weekend but just need to make better choices for my running plan.
