There's not much of summer left. How are you spending your final days of the season? Heading back to school? Sending off the kids? Sneaking in some last vacation days? I hope it's all great!
The lake with the mountains in the background looks amazing. Def a great place to just wander around with your dog. How come so many trees are cut down around the lake??
ReplyDeleteWell the lake is a reservoir that was dammed in 1917. The trees were cut down back then!! Some of the stumps are so big you could park a car on them. I know I have seen pictures of men cutting them. I will look around and see what I find! many of the stumps have "steps" cut in them where they used boards to stand on while sawing....It's a fairly amazing place actually!

Wow that is crazy, stumps big enough to park cars on?!? I can't even imagine that lol.
